Carry out the development and operation of commercial farming. Ensure that farming follow the standards that have been set to produce a premium yield.
The commercial plantation project is the FWC’s effort to produce LAT to meet the needs of the Malaysian market in particular. The expansion division is fully responsible in ensuring that the development of the project runs smoothly and in line with the milestones.
PROJECT
The planning for the first phase is to develop first 24 ponds, 48 more ponds for the second phase and the third phase of 96 ponds. This type of cluster pool will consist of 7 main clusters to facilitate management.
FWC estimates LAT production of 2 tonnes per month from this “Commercial Pilot Project” and will be used as a reference in subsequent commercial projects.
